Jon Moxley debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and became one of the mainstays of the company since then. He is also confident when it comes to AEW getting more fans thanks to its diverse product

Jon Moxley is no stranger to violent matches in his career, especially death matches as he has done a lot of that in CZW and also competed in various hardcore and deathmatches in AEW on top of that.

While speaking on his YouTube channel, pro wrestling legend Jim Cornette was asked about Jon Moxley’s weaknesses. Cornette lambasted Jon Moxley for wrestling ‘garbage’ deathmatches in garbage promotions.

“He doesn’t know how to have more than one kind of a match, and it’s a garbage match. He’s fixated and has a fetish for these death match garbage pieces of **** like the bank addicted drug robber, and he’s been lucky enough to get a job with the two biggest companies in the United States in the last twenty years [WWE and AEW] and still wants to go out to barns and stick thumbtacks in himself with the rest of this trash for even a little bit of money, but certainly not as much as he makes with his main job which he ought to be taking care of, but instead he’s out there fostering relationships with garbage people and garbage promotions around the world.”

Jon Moxley is set to defend his GCW World Championship against Nick Gage at GCW Fight Club on October 9 at The Showboat in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Moxley will continue to do what makes him happy and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
