Jeff Hardy was supposed to cut a backstage interview about getting picked by SmackDown. Then Hardy saw someone he doesn’t want to tangle with in the ring again, Brock Lesnar.

After Hardy excused himself, Brock Lesnar took the microphone and he cut a little promo backstage. He thanked Paul Heyman for being such a great advocate, and because of Heyman, Lesnar is a free agent.

Brock Lesnar declared himself a free agent, meaning he can do whatever he wants to do. Then he did a legit mic drop and winked at the camera before walking off. It appears that fans don’t know which brand Brock Lesnar will show up on next, because he is a free agent and able to pick whichever show he likes.

This falls in line with WWE wanting to keep their network partners happy. A huge star like Brock Lesnar can now appear on both shows and float around to spread his star power.
