WWE is holding another pair of tournaments very soon and they will reportedly close out in Saudi Arabia. The King of the Ring is coming back and a women’s tournament is also set, but it won’t be a “Queen of the Ring” situation.

The company registered a trademark for “Queen’s Crown Tournament” in August. It turns out that is the name they are going with for the reported “Queen of the Ring Tournament.”

Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast’s Andrew Zarian tweeted out to confirm that the Queen of the Ring tournament isn’t happening, but a “Queen’s Crown Tournament” will take place instead. The conclusion of that tournament is still slated for Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

“Queen’s Crown Tournament” is the official name moving forward for “Queen of The Ring”

It will be interesting to see who wins that Queen’s Crown Tournament, because WWE will then have two members of royalty on their roster. We do now know any further details about the tournament, such as how many members of the roster will be involved, but this is going to be a first for the company.

In case you’re wondering, Charlotte Flair has already commented on this tournament and she believes that she should just be given the top prize.
