Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood left WWE together and came back in AEW as a tag team. While the union of these two extremely brutal AEW superstars results in pure domination, they still make sure to acknowledge their heroes.
The entrance music released via AEW for the duo is a nod to The Midnight Express. As Eaton was passed away earlier this year, the tribute is a fitting gesture to the legacy of the Midnight Express.
Midnight Express started off with Eaton and Dennis Condrey along with Jim Cornette accompanying them as manager. Condrey and Eaton had their legendary feud with Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, which had Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson. After Condrey left the Jim Crockett Promotions, he was replaced by Stan Lane.
Tony Khan took to Twitter in order to commemorate their legacy. Bobby Eaton passed away on August 5 earlier this year after suffering a fall. In order to support his family, Chris Jericho and many other superstars took to donating their money to a GoFundMe set up for his family.
