U.K. Venue Frontrunner To Host Next Year’s WWE SummerSlam

WWE has many plans in the pipeline and that includes their big events. United Kingdom fans are clamoring for a big event and that is reportedly on the way as the biggest party of the summer could be coming to Cardiff.

According to a report from Talk Sport, WWE is strongly considering 2022’s SummerSlam event for Cardiff at the Principality Stadium. The venue is currently a frontrunner after meetings took place over the last week. WWE just got back from the U.K on a mini-tour and they plan to return again soon.

The Principality Stadium in Cardiff is the front-runner for SummerSlam in the UK next year. Meetings took place during the tour last week and great progress was made on a WWE UK PPV.

This is not 100% confirmation, but WWE realizes how passionate their fan base is in the United Kingdom. They have worked hard to make headway toward holding a big event in the U.K. and that wait might be over for fans in the United Kingdom soon enough.
