Charlotte Flair Says Ripping Up Lily At WWE Extreme Rules Was A Wakeup Call For Alexa Bliss

Charlotte Flair’s booking remains one of the most polarizing decisions in WWE. Flair continues to be criticized for getting multiple shots at titles which other WWE Superstars deserved far more than she did. Despite all the backlash, WWE is set on pushing Flair to the moon and that is unlikely to stop anytime soon.

Despite all the criticism, it is a fact that Charlotte Flair is one of the best female in-ring performers in the company and that she has competed in several historic matches in the company.

Charlotte Flair defended her RAW Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss at WWE Extreme Rules. After beating Bliss, Charlotte Flair destroyed Bliss’ doll Lily and then attacked Bliss once again. Bliss picked up pieces of Lily and started crying before leaving while foaming at the mouth.

While speaking during a backstage interview, Charlotte Flair explained why she destroyed Lily. Flair said that the woman she faced tonight was the old Alexa Bliss and that’s what fans wanted to see and not Lily.

“The Alexa I faced tonight was the old Alexa. It was the Alexa I saw when she held the RAW Women’s Championship multiple times. Tonight, she fought me and faced me. Yes, I’m still the Queen, but that’s the Lexi we all want to see. I don’t want to hear about Lilly.

Ripping up Lilly was a wakeup call. A wakeup call to remind her that she’s still a champion at heart.”

It remains to be seen whether Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will continue feuding now that Lily is no longer by Bliss’ side.
