Eddie Kingston quickly found a place in AEW after his debut in Daily’s Place. He has since become one of the post popular members of the roster. One of his fans is quite famous and he wrote a song just for him.
While speaking to TSN, Kingston reacted to the track that Westside Gunn laid down and named after him. Kingston considers it an honor to have someone like Westside Gunn recognize him in this way.
“It’s a trip, but it’s also an honor because Griselda and Westside Gunn, they do hip-hop I like. There’s a lot of hip-hop out there right now that I do not like and do not understand. So, it’s definitely flattering and it’s humbling for them to even consider, let alone put my name on a record. When I saw it, I was just blown away. I’ve been trying to meet Westside. I’ve been trying to get [Buffalo natives The] Butcher and [The] Blade to bring him backstage so we can chill.”
We’ll have to see if Tony Khan can get Westside Gunn to perform the Eddie Kingston song for one of King’s entrances in the future. It appeared that his feud with Miro would carry on after his loss at All Out, but God’s Favorite Champion has now moved onto Sammy Guevara.
