Bray Wyatt was released from his WWE and many around the industry were shocked. Even WWE’s third party partners were surprised that Wyatt was nixed. He might arrive in AEW far sooner than his 90-day non-compete clause would allow.

Ringside News exclusively reported that AEW and Bray Wyatt have spoken. We did not report a contract was signed yet, but his 90-day non-compete clause could be a real determining factor unless he gets it waived.

It was previously reported by Fightful that WWE Superstars may request to waive their 90-day non-compete clause. That is a time when they are still getting their downside guarantee money while they cannot compete for another company.

If WWE approved Wyatt’s request to waive his 90-day non-compete clause, then he may appear elsewhere.

It has not been confirmed that he requested that his 90-day non-compete clause be waived, but we have to wonder if he would request it.

It was reported by Dave Meltzer that Wyatt’s projected debut is next week’s Dynamite. We will have to see if it all comes together in Rochester.
