Many consider CM Punk’s AEW debut last month at AEW Rampage: The First Dance to be one of the greatest moments in the company’s history and it is hard to argue why. To add to that, his debut might even make it to Guinness World Records.

Punk himself absolutely loved his AEW debut and it was said that AEW had no idea what Punk was going to say in his promo during his debut on AEW Rampage.

CM Punk’s first AEW t-shirt also smashed sales records last month. It seems that was just the beginning as CM Punk also helped set new merchandise records for the company.

While speaking to Barstool Rasslin’, CM Punk talked about being in the same company as Bryan Danielson and stated that there is no competition between himself and Danielson.

”I don’t think there’s competition. I think there’s just a great will and desire to not only wrestle each other eventually but just let’s have fun with all these new toys we got, all these new kids you know and I keep talking about wanting to tag with him. There’s just so many options.”

CM Punk and Bryan Danielson have competed various times against each other over the years. It remains to be seen if the two will work together once again now that they are in AEW.
