AEW took the world by storm back in 2019 as it was the first pro wrestling company in a very long time that made waves in the pro wrestling world as a form of competition for WWE. It was certainly a risky endeavor as well because there was always the chance it was going to end up being a huge failure.
It is undeniable that AEW has become one of the most talked-about companies in the pro wrestling world thanks to CM Punk’s AEW debut as well as Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole.
Danielson also worked in WWE for several years and is well aware of how differently it functions compared to AEW. This is especially true when it comes to getting changes done in the company.
While speaking with Chris Mueller of Bleacher Report, Bryan Danielson talked about the politics and the struggle in WWE, adding that it is very difficult to get anything to change in the company.
“It’s hard for me to say honestly, it’s weird because WWE itself has changed so much in the time that I’ve been there. People go in, and I think this happens in every company regardless, and push for ideas that will make them look good. And so everybody does that. So I think more of the politics, the struggle in WWE is that the system is so big that it’s hard to get access to the people you need to get access to, to get anything to change.
It remains to be seen how Bryan Danielson will fare in his match against Kenny Omega at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, as it is likely to steal the show in many ways.
