RVD Says Dark Side Of The Ring Used ‘Creative Editing’

RVD was featured on Dark Side of the Ring’s episode about the Plane Ride From Hell. His recalling of events was especially damning for Ric Flair. Now the Whole F’n Show is saying that creative editing was at play.

Rob Van Dam said that “I remember him crowding her and trying to make her touch him and stuff.” Some fans read into that to mean that RVD said that Ric Flair actually forced their flight attendant to touch him, which was her story.

After one fan asked RVD to specifically speak on this situation, RVD said that he did not see Ric Flair force her to touch him. Then he made a remark about Dark Side of the Ring’s “creative editing.”

I can confirm I didn’t see that and I didn’t say that. Creative editing will have people hearing it different ways.

RVD did say he saw Flair crowd their flight attendant in the hallway and talk to her to “try to make her” touch him, but he never said he saw Flair force her to actually do it. Now he has spoken on that subject. It still doesn’t excuse The Nature Boy’s actions.
