Roderick Strong Becomes New WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion

WWE introduced a new NXT last week and this week saw the crowning of a new NXT Cruiserweight Champion. KUSHIDA was a fighting champion, but that time ended tonight.

KUSHIDA put his title on the line against Roderick Strong, who made his way to the ring with the Diamond Mine with him. While his stable stood at ringside, Strong was able to win the Cruiserweight Title.

Bivens put Strong’s foot on the ropes to break a Hoverboard Lock. Then the rest of the Diamond Mine helped secure the win for Strong. This is Roderick Strong’s first reign as Cruiserweight Champion.

After his win, Grayson Waller came out and challenged Strong to a match for his title next week.
