Update: Fans in attendance reached out to Ringside News and squashed this report about so many fans leaving at once.

Original: WWE brought a three-hour show for RAW this week, but they didn’t bring their A-Game for every segment. It turns out that around 1,500 people left at once and that’s not the best thing when a live broadcast is going on.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up how around 1,500 people got up and left before the main event match of the show. They apparently didn’t want to stick around to see Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley vs Big E go down. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair’s segment was simply too much for them to take and a ton of people left during their time on RAW.

So they had about 8,000 in the building and people were leaving in droves during this segment. I heard 1,500 people left and it’s not like they left and went to the bathroom and came back. They left and went home at 10:00. People were going home at 10:00 and I had never heard that they did that during RAW and it was this segment.

It’s unknown exactly why so many fans decided to leave during that segment. Ric Flair’s name is in the news in a big way, and he is halfway cancelled at this juncture. We’ll have to see if fans stick around for Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair’s match at Extreme Rules, but this was not a good look for their feud at all.
