Noelle Foley, daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley had issues with concussions for the past couple of years. She suffered the concussion after riding on a roller coaster.
Noelle Foley event went to a specialist after suffering the concussion. She was training to become a pro wrestler, but the concussion put a stop to that as well. She also suffered from Hyperacusis due to the concussion.
Noelle Foley took to her Instagram and shared several photos of herself while talking about her struggles with concussions over the last couple of years and how she dealt with them.
Last week marked 2 years since my concussion. Little did I know, it would change my life completely, and what feels like, forever.
It has been an extremely difficult two years with many obstacles, hurdles, and setbacks… with setbacks being the hardest to deal with, both physically and mentally.
Today is also #NationalConcussionAwarenessDay 🧠 There is still SO much to learn about concussions and how to properly treat a concussion. In the last few years alone, concussion protocols have changed. I’m hoping in the near future, more research is done on how to properly treat concussions and prevent ongoing persistent concussion symptoms. Anybody going through PCS knows how detrimental it can be to one’s life.
It can also be very difficult to deal with an invisible illness because you look fine on the outside, but are nowhere close to fine on the inside. Sometimes it can be difficult for the people around you to understand that you’re struggling even though you physically look normal from the outside.
To anyone struggling out there, whether it be from a concussion, an injury, or mental health, PLEASE remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we will eventually get there! We got this ❤️
Concussions are a very serious matter and should be taken with seriousness as much as possible. We hope Foley eventually makes a full recovery and continue her dreams of becoming a professional wrestler
