Tommy Dreamer Skipping Impact Television Tapings After Dark Side Of The Ring Controversy

Dark Side of the Ring returned this week with a huge episode that many fans were waiting on. The Plane Ride From Hell was covered and new details about the experience came to light. Tommy Dreamer was heavily featured during that episode and he won’t be around Impact Wrestling’s television tapings this week.

The Plane Ride From Hell episode also caused Ric Flair to trend on social media. Plenty of fans had a lot to say about this controversial subject matter.

According to Fightful Select, Impact Wrestling staff was informed that Tommy Dreamer will not be at this weekend’s television tapings in Nashville, Tennessee. This will not change his role in the company going forward as he is an important backstage figure.

Staff was informed that Tommy Dreamer would not be at this weekend’s Nashville tapings. Dreamer appeared on last night’s Dark Side of The Ring, where he recounted the events of the Plane Ride From Hell, brushing off Ric Flair’s behavior during the event, and saying it was simply a “joke,” among other things.

A lot of what Tommy Dreamer said about the situation was not taken in the best way. There are a lot of upset fans today as they discovered what really went on during that infamous day in pro wrestling history.
