AEW entered a new era when Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, and Adam Cole joining the company caused a huge uptick in interest. The company is also preparing for a historic show in Queens at Arthur Ashe Stadium. That created a very happy atmosphere backstage.

According to a report from PW Insider, locker room morale is very high right now in AEW. The anticipation of their show in Queens, couples with what they have in the pipeline caused many to celebrate this milestone.

There’s very high morale in the locker room right now, as you might imagine, leading into Queens.  Everyone wants to appear on that event in some fashion, realizing what a huge milestone it’s going to be for the company as it’s their NYC debut and it will be, by far, their biggest crowd to date.  It’s not lost on the talents that the Grand Slam event will outdraw WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden by 4-5,000 fans.

We’ll have to see what happens at AEW Grand Slam, because they have a lot of eyes on the product right now. Hopefully, they deliver a big show for those 17,000+ fans in attendance. If anything, the backstage atmosphere seems to be very positive about what’s to come.
