Bobby Lashley proved himself as a very dominant champion over the past few months. He has Vince McMahon’s number and has the privilege of calling him anytime he wants. On top of that, Lashley is also open to fighting in Bellator again in the future. He lost that title to Big E in a historic moment, but the All Mighty’s story is still being written.
Lashley conquered every obstacle laid before him since March of this year. Lashley always had MVP by his side as his manager, who proved to be the deciding factor in many of his matches.
However, that all changed on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW as he lost the WWE Championship to Big E after he cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase.
While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T was asked which WWE Superstar he would’ve loved to manage. Booker T revealed that he wanted to manage Bobby Lashley as he and Lashley also have a history together.
“If I had to manage one person, it would be Bobby (Lashley). It would be Bobby. Not want to step on the toes of MVP or anything like that. Bobby – I think I have certain special qualities that I could bring to the game, especially the suit game – my suit game is much more on top than MVP but I ain’t trying to throw no shade on MVP. I think Bobby would’ve been a guy I would’ve love to stood next to, just because of the history Bobby and I have as well. A guy who actually, physically sat under the learning tree and get the hell beat out of. So, yeah, that would have been the guy,”
It is likely that Bobby Lashley and MVP will think of a game plan in order to reclaim his WWE Championship from Big E. We will have to wait and see if the two will face off against each other at WWE Extreme Rules on September 26.
