WWE lost a few names in recent memory and a few of them are now with AEW. One particular production truck included an interesting assortment of Superstars. In fact, 3 of the 4 faces on the truck are now with the competition.
Vince McMahon’s company is still driving around from city to city with a truck that features Bryan Danielson, Ruby Soho, and Andrade El Idolo. Ronda Rousey is also on that truck, and the Baddest Women on the Planet remains the only person not under AEW contract on that truck.
We were told by fans that they saw this truck in New York City for WWE’s Madison Square Garden show. It is also being used for RAW tonight in Boston at the TD Garden.
WWE trucks are essentially rolling billboards, and they are promoting three people who are no longer with WWE. Andrade was granted his release request, Bryan Danielson’s contract expired, and Ruby Soho was released in a wave of cuts — but they all wound up in AEW.
It is interesting that WWE still has this truck in use without altering the wrap. They will likely get around to it, but this could also be another example of the ever-present budget cuts around the company that have changed everything from production to even catering as the arena must supply food until the company’s new catering contract begins in November.
