Jim Cornette Gives Massive Props To MJF’s ‘Venomous’ Promo With Brian Pillman Jr.

MJF has cemented himself as one of the best heels in the modern-day pro wrestling world and there is a very good reason for that. He quickly cemented himself as a top star and remains one of the highlights of AEW television since the debut of AEW Dynamite back in 2019.

The Salt of the Earth is dedicated to his character as he never breaks kayfabe, inside or outside the squared circle. His dedication to his credit has won him over with fans who simply love to hate him.

MJF is also known to take things far and push the envelope as far as being a heel is concerned. He did just that on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, where he cut a scathing promo on Brian Pillman Jr. that gave him massive heat from fans.

While speaking on his podcast, Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette gave massive props to MJF for his promo, adding that it had extra venom and helped him get his heat back.

“MJF came out, and not only did his great promo, but he had extra venom, he had extra confidence, he was trying extra hard to restore his credibility, to get some of his heat back. He was prepared for this. He wanted those people to revile him. He knocked Linda Pillman, and he knocked the pregnant daughter of Brian Pillman Sr. And, of course, then, MJF calls Brian’s mother, Melanie, Methanie Pillman. Wow, wow!” 

With AEW Grand Slam just around the corner, it is likely MJF and Brian Pillman Jr. will be facing off against each other at the event.
