Adam Cole was a big name in WWE NXT. However, before coming to WWE and making a huge name for himself, he was part of the NJPW. The Bullet Club, one of the most dominating forces in New Japan Pro Wrestling back in the day stood disbanded.

NJPW still has their version of The Bullet Club, but the original Bullet Club is reunited at All Elite Wrestling. Cole was previously with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks in NJPW.

Cole spoke with Asbury Park Press, and stated that it’s just about time when the two factions come for each other. Since there is tension between the two since the G1 Special in San Francisco split, it can only be solved with a battle for resolution.

I think there’s been tension with the Bullet Club over in Japan and the Elite here in AEW. The history kind of speaks for itself, seeing the tension between the two teams and the two groups. So, ‘unfinished business’ I think would be an understatement. I think it’s very possible that at some point, me and the Elite are going to have to take care of some business.

Booker T recently said that the game would significantly change if Adam Cole becomes the AEW World Champion. Cole was recently compared to The Rock when it comes to having the “Cool Factor.”
