Jim Cornette Thinks Kevin Owens Will Join AEW Because They Won’t Restrict Him

Kevin Owens is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he made a name for himself in the independent circuit, including ROH, before making his way to WWE in 2014. Owens has had a solid career in the company so far. He is also very passionate about pro wrestling in general.

For the past couple of weeks, the subject of Kevin Owens’ WWE contract became widely discussed topic. Kevin Owens’ WWE contract is up far sooner than initially expected as it will expire early next year.

This led many to believe that he will make his way to AEW after dropping a couple of huge teases recently.

While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about Kevin Owens possibly going to AEW. Cornette believed that Owens will sign with AEW after his WWE contract expires next year.

“There can’t be any doubt that a guy like Steen [Kevin Owens] that always wanted to do exactly what he wanted to do would want to go to a company where he will be allowed to do almost everything he wants to do.”

As we exclusively reported earlier, talks of Kevin Owens leaving WWE is still premature. We will have to wait and see whether Kevin Owens will go to AEW or not.
