Bray Wyatt was released from WWE on July 31st, but there is apparently a chance that he will show up elsewhere prior to his 90-day non-compete clause ending. As Ringside News exclusively reported, there have been talks between Wyatt and AEW and that could bring Windham Rotunda to Tony Khan’s company.

It was previously noted that Bray Wyatt’s WWE non-compete clause wouldn’t be up until the end of October. This date might have been shortened, because the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the former Universal Champion could debut at the end of September.

It was also noted in the report that Impact Wrestling is still after Bray Wyatt.

Bray Wyatt, it appears it’ll be there [Impact Wrestling] or AEW. If it is AEW, the talk is that it would be on the 9/29 Dynamite in Rochester, NY, which is Brodie Lee’s home city. If not there or soon after.

We’ll have to see if and when Windham Rotunda shows up in AEW. Even if he can’t debut in September, his 90-day non-compete clause would be up in plenty of time for AEW to plan a special Full Gear debut for him on November 13th.
