WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has proven himself to be a very dominant champion over the past few months. He has Vince McMahon’s number and has the privilege of calling him anytime he wants. On top of that, Lashley is also open to fighting in Bellator again in the future.
For the past couple of weeks, the company built up a feud between Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton, that would have seen the feud culminate in a WWE Championship match at WWE Extreme Rules on September 26.
WWE previously announced a title match with Orton and Riddle defending the RAW Tag Team Titles against Lashley and MVP on next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Boston.
However, a commercial aired during this week’s episode of Super SmackDown on FOX, hyping Orton vs. Lashley for the WWE Title in a singles match during next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. There was no mention of the tag team match, or the Extreme Rules match.
We will have to wait and see on Monday Night RAW whether the WWE Title match got shifted from Extreme Rules or not.
