AEW is filming episodes of their two YouTube shows at Universal Studios. Both AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation are slated to take at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida today, September 11th. That will be a big alteration for the company’s B-Level shows, but it won’t be a full-time change.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that AEW will still film Dark and Dark: Elevation matches in front of their usual arenas, but it will on special taping days. There are events where Rampage will film live, and AEW will take advantage of that time to film Dark and Dark: Elevation when they can.
The plan is to tape [at Universal Studios] about once a month with four shows per taping, so each session will have two shows of about 90 minutes each taped. On weeks when Rampage goes live, they will be taping Dark as well with it at major arenas.
The biggest names, other than legends on commentary, appearing at the Dark and Dark: Elevation tapings at Universal Studios are Eddie Kingston, Powerhouse Hobbs and Thunder Rosa. We will have to see if AEW has any surprises in store for fans.
