WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, but they can’t all come to fruition. Former WWE Superstar EC3 had a lackluster run in the company according to many fans as he was not booked well at all. After his departure, EC3 made his return to Impact Wrestling where he had a brief stint. After that, he made his way to ROH.
EC3 was undervalued according to several fans as he certainly had the talent to make it big in WWE but it simply didn’t work out that way for him.
While speaking to Shakiel Mahjouri of Cageside Seats, EC3 talked about an interesting plan for a stable in WWE that ultimately got nixed.
EC3 revealed that there were plans for a stable similar to the Four Horsemen and would feature himself, Drake Maverick and The Revival, who are now known as FTR in AEW.
“There were ideas thrown around where we wanted to create some things before The Narrative was full tilt. There was an idea for a Horsemen-esque kind of thing we tossed around and played with, but the pandemic prevented one of our days to travel and shoot stuff. [FTR] went their way, I went my way, and Drake returned to WWE.
What a good idea that was. I was kind of hesitant too. I was kind of hesitant because I don’t look that part anymore, and I’m doing this. But that would have been awesome. [FTR] is the best tag team in the world, and Drake is one of the greatest wrestling brains in the world. I’m all-around the best body, best mind, best personality, best looks, best facial hair. It would have been money. I think I would have wanted to call it: RICH.”
We certainly wonder how the faction would have turned out to be had it not been scrapped in the first place.
