AEW picked up Bryan Danielson and that was a big get for Tony Khan’s company. They historically ink three-year deals with wrestlers, and that is likely the case with Danielson.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up Danielson’s current situation. He proposed that Danielson can always go back to WWE after his deal is up with AEW, because Bryan made a point to say how much he enjoyed being in WWE. He decided to go with AEW, because he is a wrestler.

“At the end of the day, he made the decision to go [to AEW] and it’s a lot of new things. If he doesn’t like it, he can go back [to WWE] in three years and chalk it up.”

Bryan Danielson will have plenty of time for high-profile matches in AEW during that three-year span. We can only hope that he is able to have as much fun throughout the entire experience as he’s had so far.
