Lesnar interrupted Roman Reigns’ opening promo this week on SmackDown. Then the Beast Incarnate asked Heyman why he didn’t tell Reigns that he was going to be at SummerSlam, The big reveal was that Heyman knew about Lesnar’s big SummerSlam surprise.
Roman left Heyman alone in the ring, and then he introduced Lesnar like old times so he could avoid a beating. Then Lesnar demanded a Universal Title shot from Roman Reigns. Things escalated quickly, and Heyman found himself on Lesnar’s shoulders, ready to take an F5.
Just as Heyman was about to take an F5, Reigns nailed a spear and Heyman’s bump off Lesnar’s shoulders wasn’t as bad at all.
Reigns never accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge until the end of the show. The Tribal Chief stated that he will take Lesnar on after he finishes with Finn Balor. Suddenly, the lights cut out and the Demon returned.
Balor got in the ring as The Demon and stood face-to-face with Roman Reigns. Then they announced that Reigns will take on The Demon at Extreme Rules on September 26th.
