Damian Priest Willing To Face ‘Legend’ Jeff Hardy Any Day

Damian Priest was called up to the main roster during this year’s Royal Rumble match, where he had an excellent performance. After that, he partnered up with Bad Bunny for the past few months, which culminated in a tag team match, where they faced off against The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. He also missed out on action earlier this year.

At WWE SummerSlam, Damian Priest squared off against Sheamus for the WWE United States Championship and after a very hard-fought battle, he overcame the Celtic Warrior’s offence and beat him for the title.

As. Reported earlier, Jeff Hardy’s current plight in WWE led many to believe that the company has given up on pushing him. Fans also vented about his booking on social media.

While speaking with Metro, Damian Priest revealed that he is open to facing Jeff Hardy Any day as he is a legend.

“As far as other people, man, Jeff Hardy can call me any day he wants to get in the ring. I’ll be game for that, it’s Jeff Hardy. There’s a lot of legends that are still here and can still go, and I’m game for it. And that’s just talking Raw, we’re not even talking about the SmackDown roster. As far as Raw goes, there’s a slew of guys, but of course I want the top guys.”

We will have to wait and see if Jeff Hardy will get better booking in WWE as a program with Damian Priest would do wonders for him right now.
