Women’s wrestling, in general, has undergone massive growth and developed a lot of depth over the years, with various pro wrestling companies all over the world embracing how talented women wrestlers can be. Triple H previously stated that WWE has the best women’s division in the world, which led to a lot of backlash.

While the AEW women’s division certainly needs a lot of work, there are still talented performers in the division, including the likes of Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa.

Charlotte Flair previously stated that WWE has the best women’s division in the pro wrestling world, which remains a highly debated topic of discussion.

Former WWE Superstar Ruby Soho made her debut at AEW All Out, much to the delight of fans all around the world. While speaking during the post-show media scrum, Ruby Soho was asked what part AEW played in the “Women’s Revolution”. Soho stated that the company plays a critical part and elaborated her point.

“I think AEW is a critical part of that. I think the level of importance that is put on the women’s division here, it’s so apparent. You see different women each week. It’s not the same people. You see different women from different backgrounds all thriving, and succeeding, and intertwining with each other, and you can go on these journeys with these women. And these women have a voice, and I think this place is a crucial part in the evolution that is women’s wrestling. And I think I’m very, very fortunate to be a part of it.”

We will have to wait and see how Ruby Soho will fare in AEW as she is already set to face off against Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s Championship in the future.
