WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has proven himself to be a very dominant champion over the past few months. He has Vince McMahon’s number and has the privilege of calling him anytime he wants. On top of that, Lashley is also open to fighting in Bellator again in the future

A couple of weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, WWE United States Champion Damian Priest had a confrontation with Bobby Lashley, which certainly interested a lot of fans.

While speaking to Vicente Beltrán of ViBe & Wrestling, Damian Priest was asked about possibly facing off against Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship. Priest stated that a match between the two has to happen.

“What I want is my name to live forever, and for that, I need moments [and] championships. I have to keep moving forward. If today is Bobby Lashley, I would love it because he is the number one guy on RAW, and it has to happen, I have to have my shot at Monday Night RAW for the WWE Championship, but it does not necessarily mean that it has to be today or tomorrow. Now I have an obligation as champion, I am the United States Champion, and I have to defend it and retain it, and I will get to Bobby Lashley when the time is right.”

Before Damian Priest can think about WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, he has to contend with Sheamus as he is set to defend his WWE United States Championship against Sheamus at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view on September 26. We will have to see if Priest will be able to retain the title or not.
