CM Punk Reveals Whether He Had A Talk With Bryan Danielson Before His AEW Debut

CM Punk perhaps created the biggest pop of all time with his AEW entrance. However, more former WWE superstars have entered the mix, and Bryan Danielson is one of the biggest AEW entrances so far.

Adam Cole, former NXT Champion and superstar entered first and created immense hype. Few moments after Danielson made his way into the ring, the whole venue stood rekindled with the evergreen “Yes! Yes! Yes!” chants.

Punk revealed in the AEW media scrum that he had talked to Bryan before his debut. While he knew that Danielson was gonna be at AEW, he waited his while before he felt it appropriate to talk to him.

I talked to him today. That’s it. I didn’t want to reach out to him and be like, ‘I know you’re coming brother,’ because I knew I would see him today, and I would talk to him. And I waited till he was done doing his thing and gave him a big hug, and it’s just exciting. It’s exciting to be here.

CM Punk is certain that he will be teaming up with Sting in AEW. He also recently revealed why Darby Allin had to be the one he feuds with upon his return. He also added that shaking hands with Sting was completely unscripted in AEW.
