Adam Cole was touted as one of the best talents in NXT after debuting back in 2017. He competed in some of the brand’s best matches and his importance to NXT cannot be undermined.

Adam Cole was done with NXT after TakeOver 36 and shortly after that, Adam Cole’s WWE contract also expired, making him a free agent. On top of that, he didn’t re-sign with the company, so he was free to go where he wanted to.

Cole decided where he wanted to go after all as he made his shocking debut at AEW All Out, where he aligned himself with his Elite brethren The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.

While speaking during the post-All Out media conference, AEW President Tony Khan admitted that Adam Cole was the one that struck fear in him during the Wednesday night wars.
