Ruby Soho debuted for AEW at All Out. As Ringside News exclusively reported, she made her way into the Women’s Casino Battle Royale. After winning that big match, she caused a slew of reactions within the pro wrestling community. Tony Khan was happy to give her that moment, but the two didn’t meet until eariler that day.
During the media scrum after AEW All Out, Tony Khan revealed that he spoke to Ruby Soho prior to All Out, but the two never met until the day of the show. Once he got a chance to meet her, Khan gushed about what a professional the former leader of the Riott Squad is.
I had heard how much of a professional Ruby Soho was and I was a big fan of Ruby Soho’s work on television, but you never get to know someone until you actually meet them. Today was the first day we actually met in person. We talked, but today was the first day we got together and today was the first day that we worked together. I not only had the pleasure of being CEO and booker today, but I got to be your agent, and what a competent and well prepared professional, I’m serious, you never know a person until you work with them.”
Tony Khan congratulated and thanked Ruby for a “great start” in AEW. She will soon face Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s World Title, but the date of that match is yet to be announced. Obviously, she is ready for anything and she isn’t wasting this opportunity.
