WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. Angle also revealed the exorbitant amount of money he’d need to wrestle one more match.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon oversees everything that goes on in the company, right down to the most minute of details. He is also behind the recent mass releases in NXT, actions Triple H has no say in whatsoever.
Kurt Angle has worked extensively with Vince McMahon during his time in WWE and it was full of ups and downs for the Olympic Gold medalist.
While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about being challenged in his career. Angle then claimed that Vince McMahon gave him a 3-page script to memorize just 10 minutes before he had to go out and cut the promo.
“I loved challenges. Anytime that Vince, you know one time Vince gave me a promo, and it was three pages typed. And he gave it to me, Brian Gewirtz gave it to me 10 minutes before I went out there, and I remembered all of it. I don’t know how, but I accepted the challenge, and I told them, ‘I’ll get it done, don’t worry.’ And I did it. I did it; I don’t know how. You figure out a way in pro wrestling.”
Kurt Angle is enjoying his life in retirement after WrestleMania 35. We certainly wonder if he will make his return to pro wrestling one way or the other.
