The former WWE Superstar is all set to have his first match since his WWE release. It will be at Daily Wrestling at the Pompano Beach, Florida. Daily Wrestling announced Nese’s match will be on September 25th.
There’s also the perfect opponent lined up against him. Dragon Bane and Tony Nese will face each other in an event that features Bane’s brother H D Canis Lupus and other former WWE alums such as Michael Tarver & Drake Wuertz.
Tony recently revealed that he was told WWE wouldn’t consider him because he is short and white. A month ago, he was in the backstage of AEW and even talked about being a perfect fit for IMPACT wrestling.
