WWE NXT is set to go through a number of changes as Vince McMahon and Brue Prichard take control. It will be effectively another main roster show, but NXT will remain the company’s developmental brand. McMahon and Prichard will handle the big decisions only, but they will also take control of the brand’s marketing and overall direction. How much influence have they had so far?
Fightful Select reports that they spoke to “numerous” NXT talent who were not informed about any changes coming to NXT. Therefore, no changes are effective immediately as of this writing.
It was also noted that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard were not at the last set of NXT television tapings either. One person has been around the Performance Center a lot more than usual, WWE main roster producer Jamie Noble.
Those that we spoke to have said that they didn’t notice Vince McMahon or Bruce Prichard at the recent set of tapings. However, influential producer Jamie Noble has been said to be around the Performance Center much more often than usual of late.
We will pay close attention to the NXT brand when they go live again on September 14th. A lot of things could change for the brand, but we’re only left to guess at this juncture.
