Eric Bischoff Says Becky Lynch Will Be ‘A Huge Part Of WWE’s Success Story’

Eric Bischoff is a veteran in the pro wrestling business who remains one of the most influential and significant people to have ever stepped foot in the business. He is well aware of the changing landscape of pro wrestling as well.

2018 was certainly the most significant year for Becky Lynch as it led to her rise to Superstardom after she suffered a legitimate concussion at the hands of Nia Jax just before Survivor Series 2018. Her impeccable Twitter game after that point and mannerisms simply propelled her to the next level.

Becky Lynch made her return during WWE SummerSlam and she came back as a heel after destroying Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title in 26 seconds.

While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff talked about Becky Lynch’s return to the company. Bischoff stated that Lynch is one of the hottest properties in WWE right now.

“I’m really excited about where Becky Lynch can go. I’m not just saying for the WWE women’s division or anything like that; I mean as a talent – male, female, doesn’t matter. I think she’s one of the hottest properties in WWE right now. If she can come back and recapture some of the same energy and connectivity to the audience that she did before she had a baby, I’m sure she can; I think she’s gonna be a huge part of WWE’s success story going forward.”

It remains to be seen how Becky Lynch’s feud with Bianca Belair will be booked in the coming weeks as fans are still upset over Belair losing the title in such a horrible fashion.
