Jimmy Korderas Doesn’t Think WWE Can Pull Off Becky Lynch’s Heel Turn

Becky Lynch returned at WWE SummerSlam and she walked out of Allegiant Stadium as SmackDown Women’s Champion. Fans were not happy about squashing Bianca Belair, and even Paige said she hated it. It will also take a lot of work to get fans to boo Becky Lynch.

Former sports entertainment referee Jimmy Korderas recently took on The Man’s heel turn during a Reffin Rant. He spoke about the uphill battle that WWE has in front of them, and he doesn’t know if they’ll be able to pull it off.

“I’m not buying in yet, and I don’t know if the audience is as well. You know, because on SmackDown on Friday night she came out and cut that promo, obviously had some heel tendencies to it, but the audience wasn’t buying into her as a heel. Even with Bianca Belair, the ultimate babyface with her, they were not buying her buying in. They want so badly to cheer The Man and I think it’s gonna be a tough chore going forward for WWE to present her as a heel. It has to be done in a way that really makes people want to dislike her and want her to get beat. I think it’s a tough chore ahead, I don’t think they can do it.”

We’ll have to see what’s in the future for Becky Lynch. She drew a big pop from the crowd after SummerSlam, despite her heel tactics. Hopefully, they can turn things around and get people to boo The Man like they’re supposed to.
