Becky Lynch Takes Credit For WWE SmackDown’s Huge Viewership Jump

WWE Friday Night SmackDown brought in an overnight average of 2.8 million viewers, a huge jump from last week. Becky Lynch was there and kicked off the show, therefore, she believes those big ratings are her doing.

Lynch jumped on Twitter after the ratings came out and she sent out a two-word tweet. She didn’t need to say anything else, because The Man made it very clear what she thought about those over night numbers.

Becky Lynch might have captured a lot of interest from fans, but that viewership number won’t stick. WWE was preempted in 24 markets for NFL preseason games, so the final viewership number is likely to be much lower than the overnight number that Lynch is gloating over.
