WWE has a ton of trademarks, and they’re not done yet. The company recently filed to lock down a few trademarks including one new video game name.

According to Heel By Nature, WWE filed trademarks on August 23rd for WWE Brawl, WWE Extreme Rules, AWA, and WWE Universe. All of those filings are for totally different reasons.

Those trademark filings, which were registered into the database on August 26th, included “WWE Brawl.” That filing was done under the category of video games. “Video and computer game tapes, video and computer game discs, video and computer game cassettes, video and computer game cartridges, video and computer game CD-roms, video output game machines for use with televisions; video and computer game software.”

WWE Extreme Rules is coming up soon and the company has that name locked down as well. Also, the company made sure that WWE Universe is their trademark as well. The AWA, or American Wrestling Association, operated from 1960 to 1991 and WWE owns their library of footage.

We’ll pay close attention to those trademarks as they are bound to pop up again sooner than later.
