Bray Wyatt was released from WWE and his non-compete clause isn’t over yet. That won’t stop people all over from speculating about his next move. Although AEW seems to be a very likely landing pad for Wyatt, All Elite Wrestling isn’t the only game in town.
According to Dave Meltzer, Impact Wrestling is really after Bray Wyatt. This information came to light during his appearance on Sunday Night’s Main Event. The issue remains that it is unclear if the interest goes both ways.
Bray Wyatt is primed to be one of the top free agents in the entire pro wrestling world when his non-complete clause expires on October 29th. We will have to see what happens in this situation as we get a bit closer to that date.
AEW Full Gear is November 6th, and that would be a decent place to expect Windham Rotunda’s debut for the company. If anything, it will certainly keep fans guessing.
Until Bray Wyatt’s non-compete clause expires, no formal talks can begin with any other company. He is technically still employed by WWE while he runs out that non-compete clause as he is still getting paid his downside guarantee.
It will be very interesting to see what Windham Rotunda decides to do next. Even if he signs with AEW, it isn’t impossible to picture him in Impact Wrestling as the forbidden door remains wide open.
