CM Punk took the pro wrestling world by storm after making his debut on last week’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance.  Tony Schiavone considered it the greatest debut in pro wrestling history.. Now it seems the pop could even go into the record books.

It was also exclusively reported by Ringside News that CM Punk agreed to work 10 to 12 dates per year for AEW. On top of that, CM Punk had been in talks with AEW for almost two years.

CM Punk’s AEW debut might have already broken a couple of records but now it seems the debut was an even bigger deal than initially thought from the looks of it. Guiness World Records commented on CM Punk’s AEW debut and hinted at the crowd reaction being the biggest pop in pro wrestling history.
