Karrion Kross Debuts New Mask During WWE RAW

WWE will often change an NXT Superstar after their call-up. Since Karrion Kross is no longer the NXT Champion, he is only on the main roster now. That apparently came with a new mask.

Kross made his entrance this week before his match against Ricochet on WWE RAW, and he didn’t have Scarlett by his side once again. He did have a new addition in the form of a mask. They’re really pushing the gladiator character for the former NXT Champion.

This was a very strange idea, and fans don’t really know how to take it. He just lost the NXT Title to Samoa Joe last night at TakeOver: 36. They are currently taping the next several weeks’ worth of NXT television shows as of this writing, so he won’t be on those shows.

They also added crossed suspender looking deals to his ring gear as well. Needless to say, Vince McMahon has a much different idea for Karrion Kross than Triple H did.

Kross won his match via submission, but he received a mild reaction from the crowd, at best.
