Vince McMahon has a new vision for NXT and fans will see what that means very soon. WWE President Nick Khan dropped a bombshell as he confirmed that the black and gold brand will have a brand new look in a couple of weeks.

WWE is pre-taping, at least, three weeks’ worth of NXT television early next week after NXT TakeOver: 36. When they come back things are likely never going to look the same.

Nick Khan confirmed during an interview with Ariel Helwani that NXT is getting a total re-branding. Fans will see what that means very soon, but the entire look of the show is set for a change.

“In terms of an NXT re-brand, look for it in the next couple of weeks. It’s gonna have a whole new look. It’s gonna have a whole new feel and we believe, because the indie wrestlers, if you will, have come through our system and they’re on SmackDown and RAW now, we don’t want to keep doing the same thing. We wanna look elsewhere for great young talent.”

“The look of the show, the production of the show, everything’s gonna change.”

We’ll have to see what NXT looks like when they evolve to the next phase. Obviously, this change also came with some cuts as over a dozen NXT Superstars have been released in the past several months.
