It’s Saturday, August 21st and WWE is presenting the biggest party of the summer, SummerSlam! And we at Ringside News have you covered with live play-by-play results coverage. Start time for SummerSlam is 7:00 PM EST with the hour-long Kick-Off Show. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. The wrestling world is abuzz right now and it shows no signs of stopping as we roll into a rare Saturday night PPV for WWE. SummerSlam is here and with it comes two massive main events. The All Mighty WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley, will defend his title against Hall of Famer, Goldberg. Lashley has vowed to end Goldberg once and for all but can he do it? Which spear will come out victorious? And speaking of spears, the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends his belt against record-chasing John Cena. Roman made a bold proclomation on Friday that, if he doesn’t win, he will leave WWE! So if Cena wins a record-breaking 17th WWE Championship the tribal chief is gone! Suffice to say the stakes are high.
And going back to the spears once more, Edge will face Seth Rollins in a match that has been greatly elevated since this week’s SmackDown. Edge continued his roll of being the absolute best talker in pro wrestling today with a stellar promo, then proceeded to channel his Brood days and dump a black goo all over Seth Rollins, ruining his drip! Will Edge be able to overcome the younger version of himself, or will Rollins step out from the shadow and end Edge’s career as he claimed?
RK-Bro is officially a thing and they’re challenging AJ Styles and Omos for the RAW Tag Team Championships, while on the blue brand we have the Mysterio’s challenging The Uso’s for the gold once again. As for the ladies, Nikki A.S.H defends her RAW Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair, while Sasha Banks challenges Bianca Belair in a WrestleMania rematch. The rest of the card includes Sheamus Vs. Damian Priest for the U.S Championship, Drew McIntyre Vs. Jinder Mahal, and Alexa Bliss Vs. Eva Marie.
That’s the rundown for tonight’s summer blockbuster and it’s promising to be one hell of a show. Let us know which match you’re most excited for and if you expect any surprises in store. The show begins at 7PM and all you have to do is click that refresh link below for the latest results. Enjoy the show!

The panel next discuss Sasha Banks Vs. Bianca Belair and Sonya Deville has joined the panel. Booker T says Bianca needs to kepe her eye on the ball or Sasha will snatch that belt from her. Deville says she knows Belair is a genuine person so she’s a little naive. Rosenberg says he isn’t worried about Bianca because she continues to step up and prove herself.
We get a video package for Nikki A.S.H Vs. Charlotte Flair Vs. Rhea Ripley. The panel discuss the likelihood of Nikki retaining. They say she’s on a roll but that her luck may run out in a match like this. Lawler points out that Nikki doesn’t even have to get pinned to lose, so her chances of retaining are very slim.

The final vidoe package of the night highlights John Cena Vs. Roman Reigns. Kayla asks who has more to lose tonight and Lawler says he can’t bet against John Cena but it’s hard to imagine Roman leaving WWE. Rosenberg says the tribal chief led everyone through the pandemic and tonight is just another night for him. Booker T says Cena loves WWE otherwise he wouldn’t be here, and he’s not here to lose. Book gives this his shucky ducky quack quack moment of the night and thus ends the Kick-Off Show.
