Ever since his WWE departure in 2014, many fans simply lost hope that CM Punk would ever return to the squared circle. However, the impossible happened as CM Punk debuted on this week’s AEW Rampage: The First Dance. He was in talks with AEW for quite a long time as well.

Recently, Roman Reigns sparked a huge discussion among pro wrestling fans after he made some debatable remarks regarding CM Punk. Mick Foley would fire back at Roman Reigns’ remarks and stated that CM Punk was damn good and damn over.

CM Punk’s debut in AEW took the world by storm and he has singlehandedly become the most talked-about pro wrestler on the planet right now. This certainly pleased Mick Foley.

Mick Foley took to Twitter after CM Punk’s debut and used it as an opportunity to double down on his comments about just how over CM Punk truly is.

Seems like a good time to double down on my opinion that @CMPunk is damn good and damn over.

CM Punk will do more than simply wrestle in AEW and fans couldn’t be happier to see CM Punk inside the squared circle again. The sky is the limit for Punk and we will have to wait and see what happens to him in the coming months.
