WWE Hall Of Famer Edge has had a long and storied career in the company and has a lot of opinions when it comes to the current generation of WWE Superstars. During the Attitude Era, he was also part of The Brood, comprising himself, Christian and Gangrel. Christian Cage is currently preoccupied in AEW, where he will face Kenny Omega for the company’s top title at All Out on September 5th, but Gangrel is still fanging and banging as well.
On this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Edge took his rivalry with Seth Rollins to the next level and even dropped a huge hint that certainly made a lot of fans have a big hit of nostalgia.
Edge dropped ‘brood bath’ on Seth Rollins and made sure to not call it ‘blood bath.’ This was an obvious reference to what they used to do as The Brood. Of course, this had a huge effect on fans.
Many fans took to Twitter and wondered if Gangrel will be making his return to WWE as part of the Brood reunion. Naturally, Gangrel became a trending topic on Twitter as well. You can find a variety of those fan reactions below.
I logged onto Twitter to make sure Gangrel was trending. Damned right. Also, that song is still a banger. #Smackdown

Gangrel Returning at summerslam??? #Smackdown
Edge is set to square off against Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam on August 21st. We will have to wait and see who will win the match and if Gangrel will appear or not. Gangrel could always make an appearance for WWE, because he is still an active competitor and working as a trainer. We’ll just have to see if WWE gives him a call.
