CM Punk is in AEW and he caused a lot of noise in the process. On the day before WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view, the Second City Savior made his return to pro wrestling inside his home city. This was a huge moment and it also blew up YouTube.
AJ Lee already congratulated her husband for “breaking the internet.” He’s not finished garnering attention either, because a ton of people are still catching up and watching the footage.
“CM Punk Has Arrived in AEW!” has 2.9 million views as of this writing. It is also the #1 tending video on YouTube right now. That’s not all, because AEW also owns the #2 spot on top of that. “CM Punk Speaks for the First Time Ever in AEW” is #2 trending with 2.7 million views.
Obviously, the world noticed that CM Punk is All Elite. We’ll have to see if they can keep that momentum, but they’re off to a great start with the Second City Savior so far.
