Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks missed two WWE house shows last weekend, and that was not the plan. The EST of WWE was on SmackDown this Friday, but Sasha Banks did not show up. Banks wasn’t in Phoenix for SmackDown and she wasn’t in Las Vegas for SummerSlam either. Then WWE called The Man to replace her.

WWE introduced the SmackDown Women’s Championship match along with a video package for Belair vs Banks. The SmackDown Women’s Champion entered Allegiant Stadium and she was ready for war with Banks.

Suddenly, Greg Hamilton announced that Sasha Banks was unable to wrestle. Then he revealed her opponent was Carmella. Fans were less than pleased with this.

The fact is that WWE knew that Banks wouldn’t be on the SummerSlam show, but they booked it this way regardless. Hopefully, Sasha Banks will make it back to WWE action soon, but she had to miss SummerSlam.

Just as the match was about to begin, Becky Lynch’s music hit and she entered Allegiant Stadium. Lynch took out Carmella and then proposed that they “blow the roof” off of Allegiant Stadium in a match instead.

This was a big shock for fans, because the original plan called for her return much later. We are monitoring this ongoing story, but The Man is now back in WWE. The match was over in no time as Belair ate a Manhandle Slam for a very clean pinfall.

Bianca Belair’s title reign ended at SummerSlam and Becky Lynch has the title once again.
