Change is the only constant in life and it seems that also applies to WWE. NXT will be undergoing a big change which is thanks to Vince McMahon’s new vision for the company. All of these changes likely indicate a rebranding and taping for the show.
Triple H also stated that despite the imminent changes to NXT, the hiring process will not be seeing any changes.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer stated that the WWE Performance Center will be the long-term home for NXT after it undergoes the big changes and will also see a complete overhaul in general.
NXT is taping at least over the next month ahead of time with the time off to upgrade the Performance Center. The relationship with Full Sail University is over and this is now the long-term home of the show. The angle with Samoa Joe and Karrion Kross tearing up the place was the storyline reason for the refurbishing. The plexiglass may be gone as WWE sent a survey out to fans asking if they like it or don’t. The belief is that on television, the show looks too dark, so the idea is to make the studio brighter with more lights and more colorful looking.
NXT will continue to prosper no matter how much it changes, at least that’s what many NXT Superstars hope for. We will have to wait and see how the new version of NXT looks in a couple of months.
